Graduated at the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri in 1972
32 years practicing veterinary medicine in St. Louis area
1974-1977 practiced veterinary medicine in Jacksonville, Fla.

I’ve always had pets, and when I decided to pursue the veterinary profession, it was always my commitment to achieve and maintain the very best in customer service and pet care. I am proud to say I am surrounded by staff that share the same passion in this field as I do.

My interest in caring for animals came early in life when I was presented with the opportunity to assist a veterinarian who was called out to geld my horse. It was this experience that led me into this exciting and rewarding field. I’ve had horses, dogs, and cats. Presently Shiloh, my Doberman Pincher, is my best friend and companion who I Iook to for protection and for sheer fun.

I began working for Oakville Veterinary Office as a C.O.E student. I soon found that the position of caring for pets offered an abounding fulfillment in my life.I have been employed by Oakville Veterinary Office since 2004.I enjoy working along side Dr. Knubley and my fellow staff members making a difference in pets' lives As do we all,  I wear many hats some of which include wound dressing, dispensing prescriptions and record keeping.

I started out at Oakville Veterinary Office as a C.O.E Student in 1994. Since then through hands-on training I have learned all the aspects of veterinary care as is indicated in my experience and much more. I have always been surrounded by animals – presently 1 Yorkie, 6 cats, and 3 horses. My horses and I have competed and have won 3 World Championships. I love my position which is working with clients and being a part of their pet’s healing process in an environment where all feel like family.

Before coming to Oakville Veterinary Office I have worked alongside 19 board certified Veterinarians in orthopedic surgery, cancer treatment, cardiology care,ultrasound, radiography, Phlebotomy, catheters, front desk and exam room.I came to Oakville Veterinary Office with the desire to utilize my skills in the field of animal healthcare..
